Halligan’s offers a full industry approved service schedule for both vented and vent-free fireplaces.
- Visual inspection of unit and venting if easily accessible
- Cleaning of glass, logs, burner(s), pilot assembly, inside of firebox and heat exchanger area if accessible (DV and B-vent units)
- Voltage check of millivolt systems
- Air shutter adjustments, if applicable
- Replace burner media on log sets as needed (additional charge)
- Ember replacement (additional charge)
- Reset logs (if needed)
- Vacuum screens (Doors and DV units)
- Battery replacement (additional charge)
- Replacement of glass media (DV units) (additional charge)
Vented Fireplace:
Our experienced service technician will clean, perform a safety inspection & tune-up for gas fireplaces, stoves, inserts and vented log fires in approximately 1-hour. The brands we service for vented fireplaces include:
Clean and Safety Check:
- Check and Record millivolt readings on thermopile
- Check incoming and outgoing gas pressure
- Check thermocouple/safety pilot shut-off timing
- Check piezo ignition
Clean and Tune-Up:
- Check firebox, logs and burner
- Clean interior ceramic glass
- Replace all batteries
- Replace all glowing embers
